- : Well I don't know what your doing, I'm using a 16 color screen and
- : Productivity Screen Mode, eats up a lot of proccessor cycles. Are you acually
-
- The first problem is here. You can only use PAL or NTSC modes. I prefer
- them just because they are faster to scroll text on too. Overscan slows
- down too. And have you adjusted the serial buffers to full size from
- serial preferences?
-

-
- Yes. I checked the processor load again and it was 8-10%, not 20%. :)
- I use an 8 colour screen and NComm 3.05. Usually the oroginal Commodore
- serial.device or maybe 8ni.device. Downloading works somewhere upto
- 7000-8000CPS and uploading to the full 'bout 11000CPS. It's funny how
- the speed increase eats more and more processor time. Almost
- exponentially. Uploading btw doesn't eat processor time nearly at all...

- : There NO WAY you could have on a Stock A2000 system! I had a A500 with a

-
- On my A2000 i used (if recall correctly...) baudbandit.device and
- downloaded to Ram disk. Problems occurred only if i did something
- elsewhere at the same time. In other words no multitasking but i could
- live with that.
-
- Anyone know btw if there's a version of Twincopy that works on A1200 in
- express mode? I'd really need it...
